They are Sticking Old Bus Tickets
In Their Scrapbooks. . .
They Are Eating
At Your Favourite Restaurant. . . Alone
They Are Wearing Your Clothes
In The Hopes That You Are Wearing Theirs Too
They Are Buying Two Tickets
For The Concerts Of Every Band You've Been To
Without Knowing Who The Second One Is For. . .
They Are Leaving A City
That Is Destined For Them
Just To Make The Future Easier. . .
They Are Hoping That
You Still Write Poems About Them
And They Are Hoping To Come Across
These Poems Without Knowing
That They Never Will. . .
They Are Hoping That

Pretended To Forget Your Love For Them

Pretending To Forget Love Is Tough
Even For The Best Of Us
But What's Worse Is
Pretending To Not Want To Run Into Them
At The Same Restaurant

With Not One But Two Extra Tickets
And Forget Just For A Little While
